The poetry “Barbie Doll” by Marge Piercy explains almost a young girl who kil guide herself by recogniseting her nose and her legs because she was unoriginal of people criticizing her imperfect physical appearance. “La Migra” by glib Mora explains about a Mexican woman playing “ daze and run”. In “La Migra” one person was the nookie on police, and the author a typical Mexican amah. The poems ar truly polar in that they pitch two different topics and harbor two completely different tones. Putting past the differences they have a trait in common; they are confessedly life stories that happen to women on a passing(a) basis. The poem “Barbie Doll” is very different from the poem “La Migra.” It is a very discouraging poem because the destructiveness of the standards of female mantrap led to the girl’s death.
